Very fair review Simon.

However, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it or rather was surprised by just how good it was.

It had massive boots to fill and the idea to replay some of the greatest scenes in Alien worked well with me and did keep the film both strangely original yet in respectful homage to those first two masterpieces.

It should take its place in the Alien pantheon up near the top.
