The 'Ananias' link is very intriguing. The true physical unblinding or the giving of sight is by a human after Saul is overwhelmed by an event on that road that causes his (temporary blindness). Does not Ananias represent the living embodiment of Jesus as healer of the sick and the blind and healer of men's souls?
