No screen for me when reading books or novels. Screens for writing or research for articles I am writing. Why?

I fear the usurpation of the human by the machine. Just plug the brain into a machine and download a book? With the 'Neuralink' being developed by Musk we are going there. We become just a receptacle without imaginative agency.
