Safety must be paramount.

Testing is critical.

The ACM cladding chosen to refurbish Grenfell Tower was highly flammable and had failed every single safety test. Yet it was allowed to be made, sold, used, and certified by disingenuous means.

The Grenfell Tower disaster is about lax/non-existent safeguarding for tenants, false contrived compliance, bare-faced lies, and a building that should have been demolished decades ago.

The ACM cladding made the London Fire Brigades' tactic of ‘compartmentalization’ for fighting fires in high-rise blocks completely useless as the cladding burnt so fast and moved so fast it engulfed floor after floor in minutes.

The disaster at Grenfell was like putting all those disasters mentioned above together and then adding highly flammable and toxic cladding.
