October in England: ‘Sophie’s Choice’
Today in England, October 6th 2021 was the day when Boris Johnson the PM of our fascist plague island gave his speech to the Tory Party Conference in Brighton. I am not going to go into any great detail about the speech, that is for you to do, if you so wish, to watch it or just listen to it and of course make up your own mind about it.
My point in referencing the day of the speech is that this is the exact same day when 5 million people on the fascist island will have the £20 a week or £1,000 a year removed from their Universal Credit. It has been estimated that over 200,000 children will be pushed down into poverty. This is the reason why I am writing this piece today. I have no political home through which to express my outrage and have my outrage turned into political action. That is because there is no, none, zero , nada, nothing of an active opposition upon this fascist island. It has become a one-party state.
If the Johnson regime hasn’t already killed you through the incompetent response to Covid-19 in 2020 and 2021 then it is now going to finish the job by removing those people who are surplus to the requirements of their new slogan and neoliberalist mantra ‘Build Back Better’.
