I loved to read 'When The Ravens Drop'.
Mighty. Magnificent. Moving.
There is so much anger and yet beauty within the poem. Your ability is unique.
I too hear the echoes of poems of war and pointless slaughter from other great works that Antoun so brilliantly informs us about.
But your creation is more personal and REAL. I feel you are there in Gaza trying to understand the mass murder of children through written outrage.
A jewel-encrusted poem that will shine as a testimony to the almost unbearable slaughter.
You should put a book of poetry together with this poem at the beginning.
