I had been disenchanted from British politics for some time. This was due partly to being a busy father with children and with the War in Iraq that had been started on a lie and continued with more lies principally, by the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Tony Blair. I have always been a Labour voter and still am. The idea of voting for a member of the Tory Party is as anathema to me as contemplating the drinking of poison.
When Jeremy Corbyn ran for the Leadership of the Labour Party I find myself suddenly galvanised, by a man, of whom I knew nothing about. But the more I read about him and the more I heard him speak, the more I grew to like him and his politics. Since he became Leader he has always had my full support.
The more I see and hear him the more I like him even today. The more the attacks upon him from inside the Labour Party by the right-wing Blairite faction of the Labour Party intensified, the more I knew this was the man I wanted to lead the Party. The more the antisemitic smears levelled against him intensified from various parties motivated not by truth seeking, but by political strategy…
